In this period, Jesus spent most of His time in Galilee, focusing His ministry on believers. While the previous period ends with Jesus' rejection in Nazareth, the climax of this period is Peter's confession that Jesus is the Messiah.
We will mention four key events in this period:
1. The Feeding of the 5,000
Jesus miraculously feeds the multitude with five loaves of bread and two fish (Mark 6:30-44, John 6:1-14). He later feeds another group of 4,000 (Mark 8).
2. Peter's Confession
Peter recognizes the true identity of Jesus (Mark 8:27-30).
3. The Transfiguration
Jesus' glory is revealed to Peter, James and John (Mark 9:2-12).
4. Lazarus Resurrected
Jesus reveals His power by raising Lazarus from the dead (John 11).
