Nero was born in 37 AD. He became the Roman Emperor when he was 17 years old, and continued until his death in 68 AD.
He is suspected to have poisoned his half-brother, Britannicus, to keep him from replacing his as emperor.
Historians also record that he later had his own mother killed, as well as many others.
